The Story of the Enroute SturgisAid Stations

In 2004 the American Baptist Churches of Nebraska envisioned a ministry of presence and service to the men and women passing through their state enroute to the Black Hills Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis.

They arranged with several partners to provide a shady shelter in Arthur, Nebraska where they distributed ice water, coffee, lip balm and sunscreen.  In 2005 they moved the Enroute SturgisAid Station to Chadron and added a second one just north of the Kansas state line near McCook.

In 2006 the Enroute SturgisAid Station will be in Scottsbluff.  Map of 3009 Avenue "I", Scottsbluff, NE
